And when the gate arose again Those scorchers had good luck (to be released from the gate upon which they were wrapped around) Though it is not very becoming of me to tell or write about . . . How they struck the ground (on their bottoms)
The title of this blog refers to a popular phrase from the 1890s, when bicycling was outrageously fashionable and all the world seemed to be "awheel." I publish short essays, photographs, images, thoughts, etc. about bicycles and bicycling that don't properly fit at my other blog, the Old Bike Blog. There is a bit of history, a bit of philosophy, a bit of nonsense. Please enjoy it, and check back often.
I think I get it:
ReplyDeleteAnd when the gate arose again
Those scorchers had good luck (to be released from the gate upon which they were wrapped around)
Though it is not very becoming of me to tell or write about . . .
How they struck the ground (on their bottoms)
That's my interpretation.
